Recommendation for Use
Before going into production we recommend making it a rule first to test the suitability of the print pastes for the substrates to be used as to their wash fastness. Be careful of excess dyes
in polyester fabric which can migrate into ink colours when heat is applied to cure. Viscosity of the ink can be decreased by adding small amounts of water (up to 10 %).
Curing Inks / making inks wash fast
Once dry the inks can be cured at 160°C for 30-40 seconds using a heat press. You can use an iron and other methods for curing but always do wash tests. Wait at least 1 hour after curing before doing a wash test and make sure inks are completely dry before curing.
Printing Process
Applicable in all common screen printing processes; screens 43T – 77T depending on the design and fabric quality. Best possible coverage as well as colour brilliance is achieved by repeated printing with intermediate drying or printing colours onto a white underbase.
Use pallet adhesive to keep your fabric from moving between prints. For maximum coverage
and best results, print through lower mesh counts 43T/55T.
Printing with off contact (having your screen slightly off the print surface) will give more even ink coverage and help with opacity when printing onto dark fabric.
Storage
If stored properly in a cool place in closed original containers, the product will hold for 12 months. Protect from frost and excessive heat. Opened containers must be closed again tightly. Stir up before use.
Cleaning up
Use water for screen and equipment
Free from white spirit, APEO and phthalates.
